I am buzzing! Morning folks…just returned from a business breakfast with Glen Rohrig (flounder of Rohrig) and Chris Moody (founder of Poppy Cakes). Two amazing people presenting their experiences with branding their businesses and I want to tell you why i got excited.

The messages the presenters were delivering are in tune with ablaiz. It’s great to know that the branding process in the corporate world is exactly the same for sole traders and individuals.

The overall message from the presenters – a BRAND is so much more than a LOGO.

It’s also more than company marketing standards and the “appearance” of a business.

In a nut shell, it’s the spirit, the ethos of the business, the core essence, the uncompromising values your business stands for and is communicating to the world.

In any business the brand must be explored, your values must be explored, your key messages and what you are not willing to be compromised must be elicited.

They will form the standards for the company and enable you to attract the clients you want.

The main message is that it starts with YOU and what you stand for in the world. And the bonus is that it ends with you, it is YOU. Sure, understanding you ideal client is critical component that will provide a lot of information to the creation of your products, services and marketing. Simple. Stay tuned.
